About this template

Settle the fast food debate

Skip the part where you type twenty chain names into a box. This fast food tier list shows up already loaded with the most popular chains, so the argument can start on time. Push In-N-Out and Chick-fil-A up to S if that is your position, set the burger joints against the taco and chicken spots, demote the ones that have let you down once too often, and put your verdict on the record.

Tier names, tier colors, regional chains, the coffee stop you insist counts — all of it is editable, and the finished board exports as a PNG for the group chat. For the how-to, see how to make a tier list; for the eternal argument over the top row, see what S-tier really means.

What counts as an S tier fast food chain?

An S-tier chain holds up on an ordinary Tuesday with no occasion attached — the food, the value and the consistency all landing at once. The real bar is repetition: somewhere you could eat weekly and still not resent belongs with your S tier fast food chains. A-tier covers the solid regulars, B and C hold the spots that will do when nothing else is open, and D is the drive-thrus you pass on purpose. Taste can carry the whole ranking by itself, or bring in price, portion size and whether your particular location ever gets the order right.
