About this template

Rank every coffee order

Most people settle into one order and stick with it for months, only rethinking it when a new café hands them a menu. This coffee tier list maker puts every option side by side — espresso, latte, cappuccino, americano and cold brew next to mocha, flat white, cortado, affogato and a nitro pour — so you can work out which cup is genuinely worth the walk to the café and which one you order out of pure habit.

Sort by whatever actually drives the decision: flavor on its own, caffeine per dollar, or which drink still tastes fine twenty minutes into a commute. Add the pour-overs and seasonal specials your local shop does well, rename the tiers, then export your coffee ranking as a clean PNG to share. Two quick reads if you want the background: how to make a tier list covers how the format works, and what S-tier really means is worth a look before you commit anything to the top row.

What counts as an S tier coffee drink?

S-tier belongs to the drink you order without reading the menu — the one that works on a rushed Tuesday and a slow Sunday both. If a café could only make you one thing for the next month, whatever you name there belongs among your S tier coffee drinks. A-tier is for the orders you are always happy with, the middle rows collect the ones you fall back on when the good stuff is off, and D is reserved for anything you have quietly left half-finished. Judge on taste alone if you like, but caffeine, price and how a cup holds up under a lid on a ten-minute walk are all fair grounds too.
