Tier List Maker is a free online tool for ranking anything you can think of — foods, movies, games, colors, or your own images — into clean, shareable tier lists.
It was built with one goal: make ranking fast and frictionless. No login, no sign-up, no watermark, no paywall. You open a board, drag your items into S, A, B, C and D tiers, and export a crisp image in seconds.
My name is Farasat Abbas Naqvi. I work as an engineer, and in my spare time I enjoy designing websites and building practical online tools that make everyday tasks easier. You can read more about my professional background on LinkedIn, and see other things I have built at Store Front Studio.
To be upfront about it: I am not a professional gamer, and I would not call myself a tier-list expert. I am simply someone who enjoys developing useful web tools and improving them based on real user needs. What I can offer is a tool that is genuinely fast, simple and free — and an owner who actually reads the feedback.
I created Tier List Maker after using several similar websites and finding that many of them were unnecessarily complicated. Some required you to create an account before you could rank a single item. Others placed watermarks on the image you downloaded, filled the screen with distractions, or simply did not work smoothly on a phone.
I wanted a simpler alternative: open the page, drag your items into place, export a clean image, and get on with your day. That is still the whole idea, and every decision on this site is measured against it.
I work on this website personally. I build the templates, write the guides, fix technical issues, and add new options whenever they can make the tier-list process easier. It is an ongoing project rather than something that was launched once and left alone.
Recent additions are a fair illustration of how it evolves: undo and redo with keyboard shortcuts, a "Rank 1v1" mode that builds a full ranking from simple this-or-that comparisons, ready-made picture packs so template boards start with real images instead of plain text, community rankings that show how other visitors ordered the same board, and a saved-lists area so you can return to earlier boards.
I also value feedback from visitors and carefully consider suggestions and reported problems. Several of the features above exist because someone pointed out that something was missing or awkward.
Tier lists are opinions, not measurements. The templates and any example placements on this site are for entertainment — they reflect personal preference, and yours may be completely different. That is rather the point of the format.
Where a page shows a community ranking, it is an aggregate of anonymous votes from visitors at a moment in time, not an endorsement or a statement of fact. Brand, character and team names in templates belong to their respective owners; this site is independent and not affiliated with any of them. Our Disclaimer covers this in full.
Your tier lists are saved locally in your browser, and any images you upload are processed on your device — nothing is sent to a server. You can also choose which cookies to allow at any time from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for details.
