Saving a tier list here has always produced a private share link — a board only reachable by someone you sent the URL to. That has not changed. A board appears on this page only if its maker ticked List this publicly when they saved it, and nothing saved before that option existed has been published.
If you published something and would rather you had not, open it, untick the box and save again. Titles are shown as written, so keep yours clean — anything that is not gets removed.
The gallery is moderated: published boards are reviewed, and anything that breaks the rules gets hidden without warning. Views count each time someone opens a board, which is what the Most viewed tab sorts by. If ranking together sounds better than browsing, the live community polls let everyone vote on the same board.
