Every playable champion in Marvel Contest of Champions is on the board — all 326 of them, from the 2014 launch roster through to the newest additions. Drag them into S through D and build the MCoC tier list your own account would defend.
Temporary variants are left off. Symbioids, Doombots, Henchpools and the rest come in six class versions each and are not standalone champions, so including them would pad the board by dozens of tiles without adding a single real choice.
Variants of the same character are separate entries, because that is how the game treats them — Spider-Man (Classic), Spider-Man (Supreme) and Spider-Man 2099 share a name and nothing else.

MCoC has run for over a decade, and its rankings move for reasons that make a single list impossible to agree on.
Attack and defence are different lists. A champion who shreds content can be a free win on defence, and the best defenders are often unremarkable to play. Most disagreements are two people ranking opposite jobs.
Rank and sig matter enormously. A 7-star at high sig is a different champion from the same one at 4-star, so a list only means something once you say what investment it assumes.
Counters beat raw power. Much of the endgame is about having the specific answer to a specific node or boss, which is why niche champions sit high on lists written by people deep in content and low everywhere else.
326 champions is a lot to face at once, and the game gives you the sorting for free.
By class — Cosmic, Tech, Mutant, Skill, Science and Mystic — is the obvious cut, and it is more than cosmetic: each class is strong against one and weak against another, so champions really do compete within their class first.
By role is the useful second pass. Sort into damage, utility, defence and counter-specific picks, then rank inside each group.
By era is worth a look if your account is older. Champions from the early years and champions from the last two seasons were designed to very different power levels, and comparing them cold flatters neither.
