About this template

Rank the six-star roster

The tray loads all 113 six-star operators, which is the scope almost every Arknights tier list uses. Ranking all 374 obtainable operators in one column is technically possible and almost never useful.

Lower-rarity operators are deliberately left out rather than forgotten — several 4★ and 5★ units outperform their rarity badly, and a board mixing them with 6★s ends up ranking two different questions at once. Add any of them with + Add items.

New to ranking? How to make a tier list covers the basics, and what S tier means helps once the top row is crowded.

What moves an operator

What actually decides a placement

Arknights rankings hinge on things that are invisible if you only compare stat sheets.

Modules and potential change the unit. A module can move an operator's role outright, and potential shifts numbers enough to matter at the margins. A board assuming maxed investment and one assuming a fresh pull are different documents.

General use beats peak power. An operator that solves one stage brilliantly and sits in the depot the rest of the year ranks lower than a dependable unit you bring to everything — but only if that is the question you are asking. Decide whether you are ranking flexibility or ceiling.

Powercreep is real but slow. Older six-stars drift down as newer ones arrive, though a surprising number stay relevant for years because their niche never got filled. That is worth crediting rather than ranking purely by release date.

Classes

Rank inside the class first

Eight classes do genuinely different jobs: Vanguard generates DP and opens a map, Guard and Sniper carry damage on the ground and in the air, Defender holds a lane, Medic keeps it standing.

Caster handles armour, Supporter bends a fight through slows and buffs, and Specialist covers the odd jobs — pushing, pulling, fast redeploy — that decide clears more often than raw damage does.

Ranking a Specialist against a Guard directly rarely resolves. Rank inside each class, then decide how the classes matter to the content you actually run.
