The period counter is a plain number you move with − and +, so call it a quarter, a set, an inning, a half, a leg or a round. There is no game clock, no shot clock and no buzzer. That is a real gap next to a broadcast scoreboard app, and a deliberate one: a clock needs someone watching it, and the person tapping the score is usually also refereeing.
One thing worth knowing, since nothing on the board announces it — the strip under the score works out the margin for you. It reads Tied when the sides are level, and otherwise names the team in front and by how much. Handy when the numbers are big and the room wants the gap, not the arithmetic.
Full screen hands the whole display to the board — no browser chrome, no page around it, just two names and two numbers scaled to the screen. Cast the tab to a TV or run a laptop into a projector and it reads from the back of a gym. Spectators see the score; you keep the buttons on the device doing the casting.
What it will not do is stream. There is no OBS overlay, no browser source, no link you can send someone watching from home, and no second person updating the same board from their own phone — every one of those needs a server keeping state, and this board keeps its state in your tab. For a result you need to keep, write it into the score sheet maker before you close the tab, because a refresh starts a fresh game.
