Here's exactly what's in the pool, since it isn't all of FBS: 15 SEC schools, 16 from the Big Ten, 15 from the Big 12 and 11 from the ACC — 57 Power 4 programs in all — plus independent Notre Dame and two non-power programs, Boise State and Tulane. The Power 4 schools left out are Vanderbilt, Northwestern, Rutgers, Arizona, Boston College, Cal, Stanford, Syracuse, Virginia and Wake Forest, and there are no FCS or Division II teams. Realignment has reshuffled these leagues plenty, so the counts follow the current lineup. A blue blood like Alabama has exactly the same odds as Kansas or Duke, which is half the fun. If your school isn't listed, paste your own list into split mode and shuffle it.
Dynasty players are the main crowd. In College Football 26 — or whichever edition you're playing — a random start is the point: take the program you draw, ignore its prestige, and see if you can build it into a national title team. Sixty FBS programs. That's 57 from the Power 4 conferences — 15 SEC, 16 Big Ten, 15 Big 12 and 11 ACC — plus Notre Dame, Boise State and Tulane. It's not the whole FBS, so most Group of 5 schools aren't included. Every program in the pool has equal odds; ranked teams get no extra weight.
Does it include FCS or Division II teams?+
No. It's FBS only, and only the 60 programs in its pool, so no FCS or Division II schools come up. To randomize a list that includes them, paste the schools you want into split mode and shuffle — the first school listed under Team 1 is your pick. You can mix levels freely there, since split mode takes any names you give it.
Is there a conference filter?+
Not yet — every pull draws from all 60 programs, so an SEC power and an ACC underdog have the same odds. For a random SEC team, or one from any single conference, type that conference's schools into split mode and shuffle; whoever lands first in Team 1 is your random pick from that group. The same trick works as a college football conference randomizer — paste the conference names instead of schools.
