Your own arrangement is the vote — there is no separate form to fill in, and you can re-rank as often as you like without stuffing the count, because a re-vote replaces your previous one rather than adding to it.
Most polls run open-ended. Any that has a closing date shows a countdown above, and stops accepting votes when it reaches zero — the results stay up afterwards, because a finished ranking is worth reading.
